Artists' Statement
It seems as though I have been painting my whole life. Being creative is a “need” for me. I am specially drawn to the freedom of having no boundaries of representation through my art. I play with my imagination and leave the brush free to explore the canvas without worrying about the end result.
Influenced by feelings and passion, my own techniques have developed. My work with oil paint involves figurative images, surrealistic faces and contemporary landscape art on an emotional level. I like using color to tell a story, wanting the viewer to interpret my work and let their imagination fly.
Throughout the years I have experimented with various techniques that demand professional skills, and as an artist, I must create my own world. I believe that I paint what I feel, or see through my eyes, to be certain that the ending result can be extraordinary.
